The first Thursday night meeting of Yarmouth’s summer season took place on the 29th July 2021 featuring the Back to Basic Bangers including a pair of Suzuki Wagon Rs for 548 Alex Utting and 212 Chris Bartrum.
Heat 1 begun with 323 Kieran Tweed spinning 621 Gareth Parker. 214 Jason Rigby got spun fence-wards before 116 Mark Want had a pop at 70 Vinnie McCarthy. 762 Callum Douglas tangled with 293 Ben Jordan on the pits bend. 629 Ewan Rout and 293 Ben tangled resulting in the latter hitting a post big time half way down the straight. 302 Jack Smith spun 450 Howe Read, who recovered to attack 621 Gruff. 70 McCarthy spun 741 Luke Parfitt with the chequered flag dripping on 730 Brandon Mayes, although this was taken away after review of the lap sheets with 302 Jack Smith being deemed the rightful winner.

441 Gary LeGrice and 648 Boxer Pete were early casualties in Heat 2, and 549 Austin Newell ended up bouncing off a post. 439 Daniel Sutton got stuck on the infield tyres. 549 Newell recovered to spin 259 Turbo Tom. 212 Chris Bartrum spun 46 Lorne Stonebridge in synchronisation with 259’s spin whilst 211 Lee Cowley was spun in the battle for second place. 862 Reece Eglington spun 117 Lee Reynolds and 102 Steele had a pop at 212 Barty.

It was an all in format for Heat 3 after the earlier half car format. 220 Josh Downing was an early spinner. 441 LeGrice turned 16 Karl Gant left. 116 Wanty spun 15 Sam Coote who collected 48 Lewis Grummett who had expired before the start. 862 Eglington spun 441 LeGrice before a spectacular moment for 713 Steven Bray; rolling and landing back on all fours on the pits bend. 629 Rout spun 14 Barry Payne for the lead. 70 McCarthy spun 293 Jordan. 141 Jake Stewart and 70 McCarthy crashed out near the start finish line, with 862 Eglington running 212 Barty through 70 McCarthy. 323 Tweed spun 404 Dace who quickly recovered to spin 713 Bray in turn. 516 Jordan Harber spun 901 Reece Worby and 447 Nyall Hardingham did the same to 22. 713 Bray attacked 901 Worbster but caught a post in turn as 621 Gruff spun 14 Bazza. 730 Brandon Mayes won, luckily for him, this one counted.

It was a manic start to the Final, which saw loads crash out. 48 Grummy spun and was collected by the pack claiming 901 Worbster, 629 Rout & 259 Turbo Tom. 293 Jordan tboned 259 Turbo Tom before the reds came out to assist those that had crashed out. 259 Turbo Tom needed medical assistant for knee injury unfortunately. The restart saw 629 Rout spin 293 Jordan and jump up him. 212 Barty collected 293 Jordan before 15 Captain Slow spun 713 Bray. 629 Rout spun 450 Howe fence-wards. 516 Harber ran head on into 450 Howe. 220 Downing and 15 Captain Slow clashed as 173 Chunk spun 212 Barty. 548 Big Al backed out on 439 Sutty, the latter getting jacked by 16 Gant. 447 Nail jacked 16 Gant. 212 Barty delivered a huge tbone to 548 Big Al. 323 Tweed attacked 447 Nail whilst 450 Howe spun 293 Jordan. 447 Nail jacked 450 Howe among the pits bend chaos. 549 Newell delivered a head on to the spun 730 Bubba. More drivers went piling in on the pits bend as 367 Beevor attacked 450 Howe. 549 Newell punted on 447 Nail, who continued the momentum to tbone 629 Rout. 741 Luke Parfitt won in his Ford Puma and celebrated by homing in on the pile up. Second placed 549 Newell jacked 741 Capt D with third placed 447 Nail jacking 549 Newell to conclude the action.
