19 cars were out for Heat 1. 101 was the first to show as he spun 666 Damo. 109 Posh Boy spun 433 Smith. 155 Captain Slow attacked 668 Musson. 421 Hippo had a pop at 788 Riches. This allowed 502 Selfy to move in and spin 788 Riches. 109 Posh Boy spun 200 Baldy. 101 set about 502 Selfy near the pit gate, eventually spinning him around. The lively 101 attacked 810 Williams, who backed the latter up. 214 Rigby spun aside 788 Riches. 668 Musson attacked 810 Williams and buried himself flat out in the process. 155 Captain Slow spun 797 Jackson. 788 Riches spun 293 Smith, with 101 running into him. 447 Nyall Hardingham took the win ahead of 109 James Williams and 155 Sam Coote.

Heat 2 saw 17 cars make it on track although 367 Beevor and 267 Fryatt did not make the start. 314 Lambert spun 36 Richie to set the ball rolling. 175 Emmo spun the luckless 36 Richie who had just rejoined. 165 Benny had a pop at 39 Pusher Paul who went launching over the pits bend grass. 314 Lambert turned 36 Richie fence-wards. 175 Emmo lunged 314 Lambert wide to move up the order. The race drew quiet on the action front in its final stages as 9 Titch Mancini raced to the win ahead of 175 James Emmerson and 409 Sarah Taylor.

The Figure of 8 race commenced with 36 Richie spinning 101. 293 Smith followed in 36 Richie with 175 Emmo and 512 Wishbone Jnr pushing. 155 Captain Slow attacked 409 FastShed. 175 Emmo tboned 788 Riches across the 8. 788 Riches attacked 314 Lambert as he rejoined the fray. 799 Humphrey delivered a flat out hit on 200 Baldy over the eight. 175 Emmo spun 9 Titch. 766 Lambert put away 109 Posh Boy to move up the order. 9 Titch and 101 combined forces to set about 155 Captain Slow. 409 FastShed spun 421 Hippo as 766 Lambert buried 512 Wishbone Jnr. 9 Titch and 764 Reeve had a set too on the pits bend – the latter then administering a reverse attack on the leading 409 FastShed stopping her dead. 9 Titch completed a lap before tboning 764 Reeve.766 Liam Lambert raced to the win ahead of 447 Nyall Hardingham and 421 Ben Garman.

The Final started with previous race winners 9 Titch and 766 Lambert getting taken out by the pack. 367 Beevor spun 799 Humphrey. 447 Nail sent 101 over the grass. 85 Ellis put away 421 Hippo. 97 Scott followed in 512 Wishbone Jnr. 165 Benny spun 200 Baldy who was collected by 36 Richie. 469 Taylor spun 421 Hippo. 666 Damo followed in running mate 668 Musson as they got locked together.109 Posh Boy attacked 469 Taylor. 9 Titch attacked 314 Lambert which sent 109 Posh Boy fence-wards. 165 Benny put away 214 Rigby. 447 Nail spun 469 Taylor. 267 Fryatt spun 666 Damo. 447 Nail jacked a lame 439 Sutty on route to taking the win ahead of 367 Beevor and 109 Posh Boy.

The Caravan DD ended the night’s action. 109 Posh Boy blitzed 502 Selfy over the ‘8’. 34 Knightsy ruined 9 Titch, only to have 109 Posh Boy drive through his trailer in turn. 9 Titch jacked 109 Posh Boy. 116 Wanty drove through 34 Knightsy’s caravan, and then 9 Titch replicated this move on Wanty’s trailer. 323 Tweedy had a go at 116 Wanty. 34 Knightsy then ploughed through 116 Wanty’s trailer. 109 Posh Boy mounted 34 Knightsy’s trailer. 116 Wanty & 323 Tweedy took it turn to administer tame hits on 109 Posh Boy. 116 Wanty buried himself through the back of 109 Posh Boy’s trailer hitting the latter’s car in the process. 34 Knightsy delivered an oppo attack on 9 Titch. 9 Titch won and celebrated by burying himself in 116 Wanty’s caravan.
Another top night of Back To Basics action on the East Coast was capped off by a fantastic Caravan DD.
