The annual pilgrimage to Foxhall Raceway, Ipswich for the biggest night on the Banger calendar took place on Saturday 6th October for the Unlimited Bangers Championship of the World. Overall, the meeting produced the goods expected of it with some absolute stunning efforts by drivers and their crews on the cars and some awesome machinery. There was a good amount of action and some top close racing with a new World Champion crowned – but unfortunately the meeting will likely be overshadowed by events that took place.
