Day 2 of the Kingy Memorial weekend at Mildenhall saw just shy of 130 Pre 90 Bangers gather in the glorious sunshine on to pay tribute to the legend Kingy – and what a gathering of cars there was. 439 Daniel Sutton topped the bill with his impressive 1946 Packard Clipper. 67 Rickie Beasley had the very rare Toyota Hilux Mighty-X Estate, while 328 Danny Lathan’s ‘American Hot Rod style’ Ford Thunderbird turned many heads. The continental line up included RAAL 6005 pairing 1 Maai and 834 Balletje in a pair of Yanks – a Mk9 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse and Mk3 Caprice Estate. Another 19 Yanks were on display including the Checker Marathan Cab Aerobus Landaulette If 273 ‘Mad Mouse’ Kevin McClagish. 383 Rory Adams had a Mk3 Granada Limo and 476 Ross Coleman had a cool Daimler DE36 Hearse.
